My world has gone MAD…
After listening to the glum recital of affairs from Sir Philip Green this week (shops closing …job losses) – it was my lovely DHANI’s day of the year when his mum took him shopping for his Christmas clothes. Can i say – in the 5 shops we spent time in in Liverpool no-one NO-ONE connected with us with any more than a glib ‘are you ok there” (while passing).
NO-ONE sold us ANYTHING.
NO-ONE went out of their way to do ANYTHING.
Even though i was clearly throwing buying lines at my boy well within earshot for their benefit.
I must point out the assistants in any of those shops are not bad people – just have never been shown an alternative in any way.
REALLY its time they were now…come on you store managers INVEST – or shut the bloody door for good.
You have no idea how frustrating it is when there is an answer – and the cash could be running to the tills FAST and NOW…
(AND – those amazing boys and girls you employ could go home with a sense of satisfaction and achievment).
